History

In old times, the valley of river Corb has 52 flour mills. The ancestors of Cal Bovera were since 1868 the hermits to the Bovera. They lived there until 1932. In this year, they moved to the present house of the Balcells family, sited at the road of Guimerà and where still you can find rests of beams of the ceiling of the warehouse and the corral of its old residence hermit.

Cal Bovera is the name of the house in memory of the grandfathers, who were the hermits and conservatives of the hermitage of La Bovera.

A magnificent choice in the heat of Cistercian Route.
